8 Injured as Car Crashes Through Salon Storefront

According to officials, eight people were injured when a motor vehicle crashed into a hair salon. The incident took place a little after 7 p.m., and it was a 58-year old man behind the wheel. The vehicle went through the salon storefront and only stopped when it hit the back wall.
The driver of the vehicle and seven other people were taken to numerous hospitals in the area. One victim ended up trapped under the vehicle. In addition, two of the victims were in critical but stable condition.
Authorities said the accident appeared to be either medical or alcohol related. The incident is currently under investigation.
